All the BXs on Okinawa have diddly-squat for cute hair accessories for little girls and I haven't made any connections with any homemade shops on the island that make cute bows or headbands so since Evelyn has started growing hair, she has been out of luck in the accessory department.
That is, until we came to the States and went to a wonderful little place called...WAL-MART. I know I'll find even more cute things when we get to a city that has a Target but man, Wal-Mart was sure a sight for sore eyes. Funny what you miss when you don't have it!
All the bows or accessories that the BX does have need to snap into your baby / toddler's hair, and Evelyn didn't have enough to hold the snappy kid. Well the ones I picked up at Wal-Mart conveniently clip in, so I had to buy some. Three different packs.
Here is Biscuit modeling one the night we bought them. Now that she can wear hair accessories, it should stop the question of, "Boy or girl?" Well, it should. We'll see. Even if she is dressed in pink sometimes people will ask, so maybe they are just clueless -- a bow may not help them out.
Evelyn is starting to look like a child, and less like a baby. Wow! She's just getting more and more beautiful every day. :)
