Ryukyu Mura: Part I.

On the last weekend my Mom spent with us, we ventured to Ryukyu Mura. Ryukyu Mura is a historical village that gives the visitors an idea of what the ancient Ryukyu-an Kingdom was like.

In front of a giant shisa.

The cutest Ryukyuan Fairy I ever did see.

She was having a pretty good time.

A row of sanshins.

Nice view of a hill.

The Emperor and Empress.

Hangin' with Grandma, waiting for the parade to start.

She enjoyed the parade despite the heat.
We went early in the morning but despite trying to beat the heat, there was no beating to be done. It was downright hot. We stuck around for the parade that featured various demonstrations of years past. Part II will show scenes from the parade so be sure to check back -- it was the best part of the theme park, if you ask me.
