Oral hygiene.

In celebration and recognition of my Uncle earning a National Lifetime Achievement award for his dentistry practice, I thought I'd share a couple photos of Evelyn practicing keeping her future teeth clean and healthy.

While my Mom was still here, I became convinced that Evelyn needed her own toothbrush as she was fascinated by my electric one. I couldn't find one at the BX so I opened up a spare we had and would give it to her when I was brushing my teeth.

About a week later I came across a child's toothbrush at the commissary so of course I bought it. It is Sesame Street themed -- super cute. Anyway, here are some pictures. As you can see, she takes her gum-brushing very seriously.

  1. Very cute! Grace used to naw on toothbrushes at this age too! She wouldn't give them up, especially during her bath. At walking stages, it was hard to yank them out of her hand when she was toddling around! I so could picture it going through the roof of her mouth - yike!!!

    Silly babies.
