Baby #2: Week 20.

Candid bump shot from Saturday (20 weeks).
Today is: April 29, 2013

How far along: 20 weeks 2 days

Total weight gain: -

Baby is the size of: A banana. She's around 10 ounces and 6.5 inches long.

What's going on with the babe: She's developing taste buds and practicing swallowing.

What's going on with the mama: Nothing too new. I feel like I'm in the stage where people who don't know me may just think I'm thicker around the middle, and wouldn't even guess I was pregnant. Uncomfortable feeling.

Baby is a: Still a girl, as far as we know. ;)

Maternity clothing: I've been wearing leggings or the few pairs of maternity pants that I have just because they are comfortable. Tops are usually not maternity.

Sleep: No complaints. :)

Movement: Dan is able to feel her now at times! Her movements pack a little more punch than the previous weeks.

Cravings/Aversions: I can't think of anything I've absolutely needed recently, except maybe chocolate yesterday afternoon.

Symptoms:
-Frequent urination
-Nausea intermittently. I only took one Zofran today, and I didn't take it until nearly 1pm. Progress!

How this pregnancy is different than the first: I'm no longer working hard on school work, because I am d-o-n-e! Also, this baby has a name now (first and middle name...reveal coming soon!), which Evelyn did not.

How the big sister was this week: Evelyn was good, and had a good week. We spent time with Jess and Evan, and then her Dad took her to the zoo on Saturday morning. She loved that.

The best moment(s) of this past week:
-Dan coming home. Duh. :) He got a 96 (aka a long weekend - Thursday and Friday off).
-I was able to sleep in this weekend.
-We went out for sushi with friends on Saturday night for Jon's "sayonara" supper.
-We went to the beach on Sunday afternoon.

I'm looking forward to:
-Not to be a Debbie Downer, but can I talk about what I'm NOT looking forward to? Jess and her family leave on Saturday. SATURDAY.
- Also...one of my favorite Stroller Warriors PSCs soon as well. We're having her "sayonara" work out on Wednesday, and she'll be leading salsa afterward. I am excited to go to that work out because I've never attended a work out with salsa after the run, but sad because it means she is leaving.
-The USO is putting on a GLO(w) RUN in June! It'll be the night of June 16th, and we just found out this weekend. I can't wait to sign up.
