This picture was taken on my birthday, but I didn't want to share it with all the other photos. Evelyn and Evan aren't great at sharing most things -- yet -- but if one of them is getting a pony ride, you can bet your bottom dollar the other one will climb on too.
In this picture, Jess was lying on the floor and one of them crawled up first. Lately they have been riding Evan's riding toys together too -- his little push car that he got for his birthday, and then a little zebra riding toy.
It makes me think that someday when they are older and we are visiting Jess' family, or Jess' family is visiting us, they can hop on one of the horses and go off together, having tons of fun. I don't know how Jess' horse is with riding double but the mare I had before Dally, Bailey, would not tolerate double riding. I'm not sure how Dally would be but if we still have her 10 years from now, I'm sure she would be fine with it.
