The toy box is not supposed to double as a jungle gym.

Evelyn is very independent, and if she wants something, she will try to figure out a way to get it. Case in point: she wanted the stuffed animals on the top of her toy box, so she decided to go get them. Since these photos were taken, she hasn't climbed up there again...most likely because she got stuck and it took her awhile to figure out how to get back down.

Yesterday was her 18-month birthday. Wow! To celebrate, she took a two hour nap that started in the stroller at Stroller Warriors, and continued for another hour in the car. It was awesome. Then we paid road tax on both cars, which is less than stellar but a necessary part of life. We did get sushi for lunch with a friend though, and she enjoyed some cucumber rolls. I haven't taken her 18 month photos yet but when I do, I'll get them up here with all the cool new stuff she's learned since the last update.
