She had a couple teeth visible under her gums looking as if they were getting ready to poke out but they retracted back into her gums. She's still drooling but not as noticeably as before. That may be because she almost always has something in her mouth, usually her hands or one of our finger's if she can manage it. She also likes to chew on Ging-Ging the Giraffe's ears or anything of Sophie the Giraffe's that she can fit into her mouth. We got her this little green teether that she likes too.
She rolled over for the first time on the 13th; it was a long process, about 20 minutes long, but it was completed. She's rolled over two times since then but has seemingly forgot how to now. When she's sick of tummy time she just plops her head down and cries into the blanket and moves her limbs furiously. I am excited for the next time she rolls over so this issue is remedied.
She has started to almost laugh but it was more like a grunting noise. Well yesterday she laughed once in the car on the way home from base. She was doing her silly grunting "I'm trying to laugh" noise and then she treated us with a nice little laugh.
One of her favorite things to do is jump in her jumperoo now. She also likes nakey time early in the morning. I lay a towel down on the floor or her playmat and let her play away.
Hmm, what else. She's a talker, like her Mama. She likes to squeal when she's excited but she'll also let you know when she's unhappy. I mean she'll really let you know. Plug your ears.
She thinks her hands are pretty cool; she will bring them together and bring them close to her face to check them out. She eventually goes cross-eyed trying to see them up close to her nose. Silly girl. Another good thing: she's learned how far she can put her hands into her mouth without making herself gag. I think she likes to see how many of her ten fingers she can fit in there.
Just this past week she has become very interested in watching what we are eating or drinking. She just stares in wonder but if we put something up to her mouth, she usually just stares at it. Not that we'd give anything to her anyway but it is interesting to see her reaction. We'll be waiting until May, when she's six months, to start any sort of "solid" food...well, pureed.
She's in 3 month clothing but is also wearing 3-6 month clothing. Some of her footed pajamas that are 3mo are getting to be almost too short.
She likes to wake up early so I put her on her tummy as soon as possible since she's in such a good mood. She likes to watch and listen to her Dad play the guitar and sing; she also surprisingly likes it when I sing songs to her. She loves to "stand" on on laps and really likes to check out her family members in the States when we're Skyping. She also is fond of peekaboo.
