Hellllllo weekend, nice to see you.

Do you see Ev waving? Her left hand, the blurry one? She was pretty excited that today was Friday.  If she could talk she'd probably say, "Hey guys, have a great weekend!" Since she can't, though, she'll just wave. :)

Tomorrow Evelyn and I have a girl's date with my friend Krissi for lunch. We're going to Chili's on the AF base ... it is our go-to spot. Krissi doesn't like sushi (whatttt?) so we can't go to the great sushi place in American Village. Krissi is pretty fond of Evelyn; it tickles me to know that we're not the only ones on this island who think she's the best little person ever.

I'm also planning on renting Secretariat this weekend; I haven't seen it yet. I've heard it is amazing and that I should have tissues handy. I loved (and own) Seabiscuit so I'm thinking Secretariat will be marvelous. Maybe I can talk Dan into watching it with me...

The rest of our weekend will consist of getting our humble little home ready for our second set of visitors: Dan's dad and step-mom! They arrive on Tuesday evening. Other than that, our plans are flexible so we'll see what the long weekend has in store for us.
