Our blog's star got her two-month shots today and the poor girl is really strugglin'. We just got out of the shower because I read that warm water can help with the soreness at the vaccine site. Now we are sittin' upstairs in our glider-rocker, her eyes finally getting heavy while she eats and I type left-handed on my iPad.
Yesterday was awfully busy, hence the reason for no Japanese Lesson. I haven't worked ahead so I didn't have anything scheduled. It will be up later in the week and next week it'll hopefully be up on Monday like normal.
Lots to do in the blogworld: reply to comments (thank you for the comments - we love them!), share details about Evelyn's two month check up, tell about my first blog award, talk about my first English riding lesson (I got positively worked), announce our next visitors, and more.
I am going to snuggle with this little lady a bit more. Any tips on how to relieve any discomfort she may be feeling? Thanks in advance!
Until next time, sayonara!
PS. Another instance I have to share: how Toby almost bit someone he thought was intruding. Yeah, you read that right. Toby the chicken dog and biting in the same sentence.
Also, this entry's title not only applies to Ev's baby legs but to my legs as well. Except my soreness isn't from shots, mine is from the intense hour-long lesson on Sunday.
Can't wait to hear more!! I hope she feels better. My daughter always did well with her shots, but sometimes I'd give her Tylenol to help!
ReplyDeleteBrooke - Thanks for the comment. Ev ended up doing pretty well too, she slept most of yesterday...thankfully! I love your blog!
