If you can recall from Lesson 5, the Japanese are very polite individuals and it is important to show them that same respect. Here are some more helpful phrases should you ever visit Japan!
Onegai is one way to say "please". There are different ways to say please depending on the context of the sentence. Here is an audio clip of the pronounciation taken from about.com.
Arigatou is shorthand for "thank you", much like "thanks" in the English language. The way to say "thank you", which is your best bet in any situation, is arigatou gozaimasu.
