Three weeks ... four weeks ... oh my goodness, slow down!

How in the world is it that the little lady who is laying right next to me is already four weeks old? That four weeks and one day ago she was born? It is so hard to believe. Time, slow down!

I dropped my grandparents off at the Naha airport last night. I can't believe they're gone -- we had such a good two weeks, it was such a blessing to have them here. We had such a good time and I can't wait to share all the little details and the photos. Oh, the photos. I took oodles of photos (though now that they're gone I wish I would've taken more) and I'm currently uploading them to Photobucket as we speak.

They should be landing in Albuquerque in a few hours, around 11pm Mountain time. I emailed my Grandma last night so when she gets on the computer at my Aunt's house, she'll have a little somethin' somethin' to read. Last night was hard. I came home and felt very sad when I didn't see my Grandpa sitting at our kitchen table. I cried so Dan, Evelyn, and I snuggled on the couch. That made me feel better. :)

I have so many things I want to share so I'll make a paragraph of the things I want to touch on. When I'm finally able to get to each item, I'll come back and strike them off. Until then, you have a list of stories to look forward to me sharing.

In other news - before I get to my long list - I have one final completed and two to go. Finals are a part of the reason I'm not going to hop right back into blogging today. Before I get started on my last two finals for the semester I'm going to snuggle close to Little Miss and take a nap.

Upcoming entries: pregnancy-related weight loss and fitness plans for after my 6 week check up, addressing the question of "Who does Evelyn look like?", my snazzy new haircut, OPSEC, Grandma & Grandpa's trip, Evelyn's likes / dislikes & idiosyncrasies, Evelyn's passport photo, our birth story, & more.

Grandma & Grandpa's trip: Awase fish market, Banyan Tree golf course, cleaning & organizing led by Grandma, glass bottom boat tour + underwater observatory, decorations Grandma made for our home, Flipper restaurant, shopping, Miss Phai's auction, Grandma's home cookin', adventures in trying to find a market in Naha, tangerine stand man on the side of the road, & more.

Before I go, here are three pictures. The first two from two Thursdays ago when she was 3 weeks old and the second is from today at four weeks + 1 day. Tomorrow she'll be one month old. Goodness gracious.
Eviebear says, "This is my model pose. How's it look?"
Don't let her scrunched up legs fool ya - they are long!
Growing is tiring work!
Oh, guess how much she weighed two days ago? 9lbs 8oz! She was wearing pajamas so she's probably only around 9lbs 4oz but there's no doubt about it -- she's a growin' girl! I think it is all going to her cheeks, her chin, and her little thighs. She is sportin' a little Santa Claus belly, too. Only on a baby is that cute!
