I'm finally getting around to sharing the rest of our house. Enjoy!
This is the guest bedroom. My Grandma washed the sheets and comforter and made the bed before they left. Thank you, Grandma!
This is the dresser (and air conditioner) in the guest bedroom. I'm storing some of my pre-pregnancy clothes in there right now but hopefully by the time we have our next visitors they'll be out of that dresser and into my own.
This is the view out of one of the windows in the guest bedroom. Now down the hall into Evie's room, which is the bedroom furthest from the stairwell.
This little sign will come in handy when she actually sleeps in her nursery! For now, though, she's in a Pack 'N' Play in our bedroom for easy nighttime feedings.
This is the view from her door. Her room is shaped like a rectangle. A small rectangle which is a-okay 'cause she's just a small little person.
The wall above her dresser featuring some Winnie the Pooh decor that was my little brother's. My sister had them hanging in her room and was mad at my mom when she realized they were gone. On her dresser you can see her small collection of shoes (and bumblebee slippers for when she's older) plus some stuffed animals. The bunny was Dan's, the baby in purple was mine, and I think the other baby was Woogie's.
You may or may not know that I once collected clowns. Well, now you know, I suppose. Anyway, my mom sent me this clown. You can pull a string out of its rear end and then it plays music until it is all scrunched up again like he is in this photo.
Look'it all the books! This is one of the narrow bookshelves that flanks each side of her room. On the other bookshelf we keep her cloth diaper stash.
Now onto the master bedroom...
This is the view when you first walk in. The sliding glass door to the left or the one on the right (which is hiding behind the washi-paper screen) will take you onto our spacious balcony.
If you walk in and look left, you'll see the sleeping area - our bed and Evelyn's Pack 'N' Play.
This is the view of the rest of the room from the bedroom side.
Here's one of the plants that flanks the TV in our bedroom. The flower pot we got at Miss Phai's auction; my Grandma brought tulip bulbs from home and planted quite a few for me. I'm excited to watch them sprout and grow.
The many faces of Raechel, Dan, and loved ones. This hangs right by our bedroom door.
This is the first piece of art that we bought as a married couple and we bought it on the island. It hangs above our dresser, as you can see.
There's an upstairs bathroom too but it wasn't worth taking a picture of. If you come to visit, you'll get to see it...and probably use it, too. If you don't come visit, don't feel bad about missing out on the upstairs bathroom. It is like most other bathrooms you'll ever see. In the hallway there is the sink and some cupboard space where we keep our spare linens and such.
And that, my friends and family, is our home! The end.
