Playing at Araha.

A couple weeks ago, we made a late afternoon trip to Araha beach with some of our friends. Evan and Evelyn are two peas in a pod but when it comes to time on the beach, they are complete opposites. Evan prefers to play with the sand, whereas Evelyn doesn't want it to touch her. Evelyn would rather frolic in the water (even with her clothes on - as you will see), and Evan tries to hold his legs up when you attempt to have him put his toes in.

There aren't any cute photos of them together at this particular beach outing, but I do have a photo or two in mind to share later with both of them in the water. Evelyn looks like she's having a blast and Evan looks like we pulled a stick out of the fire and poked him with it, or something.

Anyhoo - here she is enjoying the water!

PS. It is so great to have Dan back home with us! We have been staying busy - he's been working half days until post-deployment leave, and he is also enrolled in three classes right now. Two are online, and one is at night a couple times a week.

I'm still waiting on the remainder of our photos from homecoming but I have a feeling it may be awhile. A week or two before our homecoming, Evan had his one year photos taken by the same photographer. Wellllll she has eight sessions to go through before she starts on Evan's gallery, so there are at least 9+ in front of us. That's okay, though. I may have a photo to show you soon from another source - I think it'll be available tomorrow. I'll be sure to try to share it by the end of the weekend.
