I loved the winter coat that my Mom picked out for Evelyn. The hibiscus flowers were a nice reminder of Okinawa while we were in the States. I forgot to give the coat to my step-dad when he dropped us off at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport, so it came along with us.
Good thing, too! We need that coat that is built for the Midwest's cold for our own dose of chilliness. Okinawa may not get truly "cold" to anyone who really understands the word, but when you are acclimated to the balmy, humid temperatures ... the "cold" can get down to your bones quickly.
Fluffy pink winter coat with a faux-fur lined coat to the rescue! We needed it on our Wednesday playground session after our Stroller Warriors workout. (More on Stroller Warriors another time. It's a "Mom" running club.)
