Here are some pictures though, and a few things that are unique to this past month (well, almost two months ago)...
Her hair has really been coming in, though mostly in the back. It has a few curls, it is super cute.
She has been signing "more" quite a bit but as Dan says, it is more of a "Give me what I want right now!!!" sign instead of "more". So we know she wants something but sometimes it is a struggle to figure out just what exactly she's requesting.
She started making a funny nose with her tongue, I can't even think of how to describe it. It is like the noise that you make when you move your tongue in and out of your mouth and make a noise at the same time. Y'know what I'm saying?
She had family pictures taken this month (I'm typing as if I actually wrote this in October...) and also celebrated her first birthday, so she tried some cake. We weren't sure when Dan would be leaving exactly so we celebrated their birthday together a couple weeks after he came home from California.
She became more skilled at walking along pieces of furniture and even let go and stood still for a bit. She likes to play peek-a-boo, and also likes to clap.
She is still toothless but her gummy grin is the best. :)
