Which Grandma, you may ask? Well, I can't speak for Evelyn -- Evelyn will eventually speak for herself but I am giving the Best Grandma Award to my Grandma, my Mom's mom. See, there are different types of grandmothers ... I had a Granny, and she was the best Granny. I still have my Grandma, and she is definitely the best Grandma.
Around 3:30PM Evelyn and I were lounging around the house when Skype started to ring. I was a bit confused, considering it was 1:30AM CST, and even more confused when I saw it was my Grandma. I think the first words out of my mouth were, "What are you doing up?"
She had gotten up, signed into Skype to see if I was there, and called me to give me some words of wisdom about an issue I had told her about earlier in the morning (my morning, her night). Thankfully the issue had already resolved itself but I have her advice stuffed away for a rainy day.
So this is me saying: I have the best Grandma ever. It's not debatable. Thank you Grandma for your help, wisdom, and just listening to me babble endlessly, blow smoke out of my ears as I see red, and sometimes cry.
