EDITED: Oops, I realized that when I first posted this, I neglected to add the video. Duhhh. Fixed now. :)
Here is a 2 minute video of Evelyn trying to open the cupboards to our TV stand. As an added viewing bonus, you get to listen to some Raffi. That really makes you want to watch it, doesn't it? I knew it.
The cutest parts, in my opinion:
0:05 - Waving to the TV.
0:34 - A cool, one-legged dance move.
0:53 - Tippy toes.
1:43 - Trying to hold onto both cupboards at once.
Can you see her shaking her arm, trying to get the darned thing open? Ha, too cute.
Then she figures out that if you press on the glass, you can get it open. So, as the title says, persistence pays off. And then the fun is done when Mom comes and shuts the glass door.
PS. The blue yoga mat and crate are our handy-dandy barricades to keep her from crawling behind the TV. Not the prettiest (the Schwinn box used to have that job, until she figured out she could move the box) but it works.
Looks like she's going to be a dancer. She clearly has great rhythm and knows how to shake her bootie!
