Evelyn has discovered her hair.

Just recently Evelyn has discovered her hair. She discovered it, presumably, by playing with her ear. She plays with her ear (usually her right) while she's getting ready to go to sleep.

She must of felt her little peach fuzz on the sides now because not only does she play with her ear, she has started pulling on her hair, too. I've been telling her to not do that otherwise we won't have hair for a barrette but she doesn't listen.

In other news, Dan has been on a few meritorious promotion boards these past few weeks. He won the company, which led him to the battallion board. He won that, and then went onto the regimental level. The regiment board was yesterday and he's been busy preparing for these boards while also getting ready to go out to the field. After the regiment level, he would go to group because that's where the quotas are at for the rank he would be promoted to.

Yesterday at the regiment board it was between him and another guy all day with the third guy trailing behind him. Dan completed his best CFT (combat fitness test) so far. The other guy won but I am still super proud of Dan. Which is why I am, of course, sharing all the details. Not to mention it is the easiest way to let all of our family members know how everything ended up...ha!
