Betty White & Cocok's.

I'm sure some, if not most, of you have seen Marines asking celebrities to their ball via YouTube. Mila Kunis was asked first, followed by Justin Timberlake, and then ... Betty White. The Betty White!

I love Betty White; I'm a Golden Girls aficionado and thought her character, Rose, was a hoot and a half. I am saddened that she turned down the Marine's offer. I admit that I watched the video and it was a tad ridiculous and the whole idea of asking a celebrity to a birthday ball is ridiculous. If any three of them would've said yes, though, I wish it would've been Betty.

In other Betty White news, I downloaded an eBook version of her book "If You Ask Me (And of Course You Won't)". I told you -- I adore Betty White.

Okay, anyway. I went to Cocok's nail cafe for the first time since I've been on island (which has almost been a year). If they did not give you a foot and calf massage and offer great nail art, I wouldn't pay that much. I guess it wouldn't be too much if the yen rate wasn't <¥80 to $1. Evelyn came along (of course) and behaved wonderfully. She didn't cry one little bit and was hamming it up with the ladies.

Can you guess which foot belongs to me and which belongs to my Mom?
A few of the little rhinestones fell off Mom's big toe already (shucks!) so after Evelyn wakes up from her nap, we'll be heading back down there. So there you go, now you know -- the top photo is Mom's foot and the bottom is mine.

Do you visit a salon for your fingers or tootsies? Do they paint on pretty designs like Cocok's? If you do pamper your phalanges, how often do you go?

I Love LOVE LOOVEEE pedicures with my momma. And I love that Grace is now old enough to enjoy them too - no scub for her though - too ticklish! I got maybe 3 times a year...I wish I could go every few months!

    Love your designs!
