Four...five...six...Six things.

1. Insanity - This week I began a program called "Insanity" with my friend Krissi. I actually only did a twenty minute fitness test and ~30 minutes of the proceeding 45 minute work out because a little lady needed me. I am sore in muscles I didn't know I had. Insanity is an off shoot of P90X just without the weights. I'm not familiar with P90X, that's just what I've heard. I don't think I'll be doing it six days a week with Krissi but it'll be nice to do along with my walks with Toby and yoga.

2. Avocado. Earlier in this week I decided to add some avocado into Evelyn's rice cereal. I was worried I didn't mash it up well enough and her gagging / choking just reinforced my fear so I tossed it out. Then I took a slice of avocado and smashed it by hand (yeah - ew) but I still didn't get it as creamy as I thought it should be. So then I added water and basically fed her the avocado water. It didn't look very appealing so we just scrapped the whole idea. I think we'll wait until after May 18th to try anything other than the brown rice cereal; then we'll try carrots.

3. China yellow dust. I got an email from our FRO (Family Readiness Officer) about Asian dust so yesterday albeit it was not raining, we didn't spend any time outside. Here is an article from a Korean newspaper that was published in March of this year. It is supposed to be sweeping through again on Saturday and then again on Monday morning. So yesterday all outdoor activity was limited.

4. I was featured.
Danielle at Sometimes Sweet has a great feature called "Mama Said"; it has been running for thirteen weeks and I was able to contribute. Danielle's son Henry and Evelyn were born just days apart and it has been fun to get to know her through the blogosphere. If you're here because of Mama Said V. 13, please say hello. This was my first feature and I am tickled pink that I was included in something that is so helpful to other Moms.

5. Graduation: Spring 2012. ...or not. I could be graduating in the Spring of 2012 except twelve of the credits I need are not available online until at least after spring of 2012. Great. Oh, and the Research class I need isn't available again online until after 2014.

I feel so frustrated and defeated with this whole subject. I emailed my adviser and asked if I could take a Research class through a college on base and transfer it in. I'm itching to move on with this whole undergraduate experience. Ugh so frustrating. I wish I would have been advised by my adviser that I should've taken PSYC432 in the fall of 2011 as it was the last time it'd be offered online for quite some time. It's not as if I can just drop into campus whenever I want to sit in on a class.

This isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I will get my Bachelor's degree in due time, even if it isn't when I want to have it completed. I know some people can complete a four year degree in four years while working full time but I wasn't able to do that, so I was excited to do it in six. Now it may take even longer. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer about the subject, I just had to blurt it all out.

6. Easter pictures coming up soon! Be sure to check back. :)
