...a pearl-colored, seemingly pokey addition to Ev's smooth gums.
We have noticed a little white spot under her bottom gums but I noticed this one today while changing her diaper...do you see what I see? I tried to get a picture of the pesky bugger on her bottom gums but she was non-compliant.
Part of me wants the teeth to pop through as soon as possible so her impending misery isn't drawn out but the other part of me wants them to retract further back and not show their pearly color for many more months. It is happening too fast!
She isn't miserable yet; the recent findings do explain why she soaks everything with drool and her new habit of trying to chomp on things. She was a little fussy tonight but I'm not sure if it was the budding teeth or just residual exhaustion from her Grandpa & Grandma's trip.
When yout baby (/ies) were teething, what brought them the most comfort?
Oh and: happy weekend, everyone! Do you have anything fun planned?
Tonight we went out to eat then came home and we're all in bed early. Tomorrow we're going to get Dan some contacts and run other errands then Ev & I are going to a "purse party" with my friend Erica. That's how she described it, anyway though she also said they sell cute storage units.
The rest of the weekend will be spent in the house if it remains as blustery as it has been. EV doesn't really have any warm clothes so even though it is "only" maybe in the 50s it is a bit too chilly for our little peanut. If the wind dies down and the sun comes out of hiding I am hoping to drag Dan on a family walk. Oh and how could I forget...homework. I'll be learning about f max and Dan will be studying who-knows-what. Something history related, though.

Kennedy is has been getting in her two fangs since 6 weeks! crazy huh!
ReplyDeletebut about tummy-time. My only pointer is to do it, & often. Like right after she eats & is happiest, if she doesn't like on her tummy try with a boppy pillow! & just give her time, it will happen! every baby is different! :) good luck momma!
We've been really lucky with V. She gets a bit fussy when she's teething but usually is ok with a vibrating teether. She got her bottom 2 practically at the same time when she was 5 months. She got ALL 4 top at once on Christmas day and tooth #7 on her 10th month mark.
ReplyDeleteExpecting baby Amelia's teeth to pop out anytime now. Drooling got to the point in which we have to change her clothes maybe twice or three times in a day.
ReplyDeleteBut it's such a milestone! That pearly bump looks adorable. Congrats ;)
Tara - Since 6wks? Whoa! Thanks for the tips.
ReplyDeleteSonia - four at once - wow!
Marie Marie -thanks for the comment. The little pearly bump seems to have retracted - so weird. At least I got a photo for proof.
