We've been on the go.

We have been pretty busy here this past week; I feel like I haven't blogged much at all but I guess I have shared an entry every couple days.

Sometime after their plane has left to take them back to the States, I'll recount the adventures we shared, complete with photos of course.

Ev's jumperoo came; I got her first experience on videotape though family will probably be the only ones to appreciate it as there isn't much action. I will try to upload that vid this weekend,

Today she got a new toy, the Winkel Color Burst, manufactured by Manhattan Toy. She is captivated by it - she spent all of supper at Mac Grill gripping it and staring at it lovingly.

Ummm today I backed into a car that was parked in our narrow street while exiting our garage. I let a few choice words fly and almost neglected to put the darn Honda in park before I hopped out to assess the damage.

I should've looked and not just assumed the alley would be free & clear. People do frequently park right outside our house, opposite of the car port. Oh, another thing: Our back window is covered with clear plastic bags that are surprisingly translucent when stretched. This is because Dan had a little fender bender with a guy he works with. The guy's car was okay, just a small mark on one of his taillight but our window shattered because we had the bike rack on.

So even though we can't see out our back window right now, I can't use that as an excuse. It was my fault because I neglected to take the time to look. Thankfully there was no damage to either vehicle, probably thanks to my snail-pace.

One last thing before I end this helter-skelter entry -- no, actually two things. My history class is done; it was only for the first half of the semester. Yeehaw - now I can dedicate all my studying to stats. Second thing: I am 85% positive I see a little speck of white on Ev's gums. I've tried to wipe it off, thinking maybe it was a remnant of some spit up, but it didn't move. Could it be the beginning of a tooth thinking of pushing its way through our baby's gums? Noooooo - it is too soon!

How is everyone's week going? Have any mishaps like I did? It's okay to share I'd you did - I won't tease you, plus it'll make me feel better about my careless mistake.

  1. Rae - I love the second picture of you an Evelyn where she's holding your chin. So cute, like she's saying, "look this way Ma, and stick out your tongue like this." She's growing sooo fast! Good luck with teeth. Hope that she is able to quickly push them through.
