Your Daily Baby Fix: Mortimer!

Giving Mortimer the Moose a hug.

Hey - don't even think about taking him from me!

Evelyn got the Lamaze-brand baby toy "Mortimer the Moose" for Christmas. He is the #1 toy in our household right now, above Sophie the Giraffe, her monkey rattle, and Pete(r) the Panda rattle(also a Lamaze-brand toy).

Mortimer the Moose even has his own song that we sing to her. Dan came up with the lyrics and he does it best though I've been known to sing it sometimes, too.

I won't share a video of either of us singing the Mortimer song to Evelyn but I will share the lyrics:

Mortimer, Mortimer, Mortimer the Moose!
I've come to be your friend,
'cause that's what mooses do!

Then after the last verse there is this goofy laugh but I don't even know how to phonetically type it. That's all there is to the Mortimer song but Evelyn really gets a kick out of it and that's all that matters. :)
